Coningsby Log 16/10/2019

Post by BHXBRIAN » Wed Oct 16, 2019 6:40 pm

All,

Typhoons seen today (codes from tail):

Wash Pan

346

Main Ramp 29sq

428
363
438
381
429
937
432
348
373

Main Ramp 41sq

335 41sq badge
300
347
373
366 1sq mks/badge

Shelter Area South

343
430
360
424
308

Most of the above flew including one pair, 424 and 360 which hot re-fuelled in between the shelter areas on arrival before quickly departing.
The nose of Jaguar marked XX962 is still outside a canvas hangar in the North Shelter area.
The RTP Typhoons are still at the back of the engine test facility, however only one is open to the elements with the other being covered by sheeting, however from the lumps in the sheting i believe there may be more underneath!

Regards

Brian

Thanks for the informative log Brian.
I was in the area for part of the day and indeed saw the distinguished profiles of a few airborne
UK ONS CPI Rate checker for Sept every year...
