Coningsby Christmas shut down ?

It's probably too early to ask this but roughly what date does the base close for Christmas ? I break up a few days earlier than usual and was thinking of heading up there to take a few shots.Many thanks in advance to any of you guys who might have some idea.

Going by previous years possibly the Wed / Thurs in the week before Christmas.

You may want to keep an eye on Gary's post in the NOTAM section under Christmas and New Year Base Closures.

Very useful information on all base closures, the list becomes more comprehensive as more bases are added to the list the nearer to Christmas we get.

Coningsby will show on the list as soon as the NOTAM is issued.

Great work and full credit to Gary the info is very useful to us all.
