Afternoon ladies and gents

Is there any information regarding the upcoming air power combat visit thats taking place, for example dates and aircraft taking part? I see theres a single GR4 thats arrived and if going by recent years should see an A400 C130 Chinook etc?

Always nice to catch the heavies at the local

Cheers

Have had a great week at Coningsby, so been great to see the Chinook land just now. Do you know if anything else is due in today?

Thanks all :thumb:

Seen the email screenshot from other forums of the possible arrival now of the heavies rather today or tomorrow between 4-6pm, presume C17 or A400 if other years to go from

Popped in this afternoon as the Chinook is a gap filler but no Typhoons visible on ASP. All others as per this and on the other post on the same topic parked at the top end. Plenty of room on ASP for the heavies.

Any indication as to what extra flying may take place next week for APCV ?
Excuse my ignorance but what does APCV stand for and who gets an invite to such events.

Air Combat Power Visit.

(Edit: all the right words but not necessarily in the right order!)

There was one at Waddo in 2013

Is it not the old Royal College of Defence Studies event that used to take place around the time they had airshows eg Waddington 1995. Although I seem to recall an ACPV at Waddington the other year that said Air minded younger people (ATC/Air Scouts or maybe just Universities?) were invited

Either way it ain't public
