Re: Log 23rd Feb 2016
Thanks for that Milky01 as it almost fully answered a query I was going to post.
Just in clarification, I take it Mark Long was up in the 1300-1330 slot and what height was he flying (Typhoon 35)?
Do you know if he was 'up' Monday as per NOTAM?
I may come up tomorrow.
Many thanks.

mark.alan.barnes
Typhoon35 is Mark Longs personal callsign, and it was he in the 13.00 slot - sadly delayed a few minutes by NATO35 coincident departure.
He was at "not below 1500 feet", and paused then restarted - as is normal as he puts together his various display components.
The Coningsby Buzzard also made an appearance, whilst Mark was on song, and again as we have seen is not at all bothered about a bit of burner. He also knows to maintain segregation by staying "not above 500 feet"
The 16.00 slot remained on DATIS until 15.50, as is quite often the norm.

Re: Log 23rd Feb 2016
Thanks mirage41.
Trips up Thursday AND Friday.
Last time I was up (October and the Lanc's return to flight) I caught the 2015 Typhoon currency display from The Mound and it was superb over there: CG1 or The Mound for Thurs/Fri?
