I think Grimly is talking about the display Typhoon's PDA, that will be at Coningsby. :)

Thanks Mike. Cannot think why but I thought it was carried out away from base last year, must have been a practice.

grimly,
Last years PDA was on Thursday 24th April. I'm sure that Gary will let us know just as soon as NOTAMs appear - perhaps week starting Monday 20th.

The BBMF PDA date(s) would also be useful if you could oblige. Had the two Chippies at low level over my back garden this afternoon - very nice to see.

Fireman12 also had it on good authority that 50,000 people would turn up for the CWHM Lancaster arrival at Coningsby........

A tweet from Flt Lt Jonny Dowen in response to this question on Twitter indicates 24th April 2015 but of course this is still TBC.

A slight exaggeration I think on your part, if you go back to the posts at the time the figure mentioned was actually around 20,000. As the famous saying goes "sarcasm is the lowest form of wit!"

Hi can anyone confirm whether it is the 23rd or 24th April for the PDA's to take place please? Need to book the day off work and dont want to book the wrong day. I believe in the past it has been on a thursday so would assume its the 23rd but if anyone can give a definate answer that would be very much appreciated.

Thanks
Martin

Just for anyone else that wanted to know the PDA's are definitely scheduled for the 24th April. Here is a link to some info on the RAF/BBMF website. Looks like the Lanc wont be ready for the PDA's though unfortunately

Hope this helps someone else
