Typhoon's gounded ?

Coningsby 2/2/2015

All the crews that have been getting into Typhoons this morning have been told
to make the jets safe as they will not be going anywhere.

No NOTAMs, nothing wrong with the weather, you may well be right :/

43CAF0 was up and about util just after 1100 GMT but put out a 7700E and descended quite quickly
presumably RTB Lossie
43C611 was in the air until just after 1200 GMT

Sounds like it could be a problem with the base it'self rather the Typhoons? They've just told a student pilot they are currently not accepting any traffic and their not allowing any "outbound" traffic either

It's not a grounding, there's a situation on camp which is preventing anything going in or out.

Obviously not a grounding as a Typhoon just tore up North Walsham at very low level! Had what looked like a blue tail? can anyone identify please? Now going to retrieve my roof tiles! :thumbs:

There was a six sqn coded typhoon on the pan at coningsby this morning.could be the blue you saw?
