See viewtopic.php?f=6&t=24285
9 - ALL posts must be made in English and readable with no text-speak at all. Text-speak is not regarded as a mode of communication here because it is pure idleness/laziness of the English Language. If you are in doubt of how to spell a word then please use google, a spell-checker or a dictionary.

Posts should never be made entirely with capital letters (neither should topic titles) - this is classed as shouting and is rude, posts should not be made-up entirely of lower-case letters either. Each sentence and thread-title should also start with a capital letter.

I would say not, GW.

"scampydog" asked a question and I supplied the answer as embedded in our forum rules. I would call that neither nit-picking nor pathetic.

The rule is merely setting the convention down in "black and white" for all to follow, so that we have an orderly forum. If we didn't have forum rules, it would degenerate into chaos and many of the posts would be unintelligible/unreadable/irrelevant.

Sorry, I'll get down off my high horse, now.

Not my point, I was just thinking and wondering why its needed to point out forum rules when its posted by neither an Administrator or a Moderator? Its nice to have information like has been posted but why shoot it down on an irrelevance, info like this will disappear if we are not careful, and yes I'm aware that just posting this is irrelevant and picky!!
