Log - 21st August 2014

Post by Steven » Thu Aug 21, 2014 4:15 pm

Hi all,

Spent a thoroughly enjoyable (but windy!) day down at the local today. No sign of Team Reedham's Commander in Chief - Air Marshall Bomber Mape - but good to see a lot of familiar faces including Captain Plum Trousers who ventured into enemy territory with the back-up of Craig. Thanks to Garf for the usual company and cups of tea!

Here are the movements between 07:50 and 15:15 when I left leaving just Garf on station.

Tribal 43: ZK348/FN (Landed - Parked on ASP - First visit in marks?)

Rebel 87: ZG777/EB-Q (Performance Departure - Kept it low hugging the runway before vertical pull up - at least two Paveways)

Memorial 4: PS915 (Departed to join up with Avro formation
Memorial 3: PZ865/EG-S

Steven, Rebel87 was carrying 5 PWs under the belly, first time I've seen that load-out on a GR4.

Captain Scarlet is indestructable, you are not! Remember this, do not try to imitate him.

Brilliant day. Nice to meet milky and as promised I'll start and post rather than just read! So many highlights, and definitely the right choice for wall to wall action!

And to the chap parked next to me, a pleasure to donate my eyes for the day! :)

A good log from the Arnold Hoodie, People will get better coverage of Coningsby if you all post logs.

Cheers
