Night flying again next week (w/c 4th)

Post by NSNO » Fri Aug 01, 2014 8:51 am

I noticed they're down for nights again next week according to the MOD site. Has there been a NOTAM issued or was it just a back up for this week?

NOTAM has now been issued for next week

Parent ICAO: EGXC
Start date/time: 04/08/2014 07:00 UTC
End date/time: 08/08/2014 09:00 UTC
Activity period: 0700-0900
Lower height limit: 000
Upper height limit: 999

NO VISITING ACFT, DIVERSION COMMITMENTS OR PRACTICE DIVERSIONS

ADD 1 hour for local/BST

If that NOTAM is correct they are closed until 10am on Friday too. Sounds like Friday could be quiet apart from the Canadian Lancaster

Looking forward to seeing plenty more quality images from here with some nice evening light.

Good afternoon, just a quick question for the fighter town locals, I'm thinking of having one of my quarterly trips to fighter town on Monday but if they're all on lates can somebody please advise on a good time to get there, don't really fancy just sitting about if there's no action, many thanks in advance.
