Looks like they've chosen not to re-new the contract then, happens all the time everywhere, sad for the guy but it the nature of the beast.

The answer is simple, if Adrian does get turfed off, boycott the new nosh wagon. Maybe then, 'they', i.e. those who appear to have arbitrarily decided to end Adrian's presence at the spotter's car park will get the message! Not that it will help Adrian in the short term of course...

As I understand the situation from Adrian is ,that, if they have the legal advantage of just turning up on the site and selling it would put him out of business as the site wouldnt survive with two vendors. From what he has suggested is this van , of which they have one, would still do its run within the gates first and would then visit the car park, for how long he doesnt know. If all of you experts out there then consider that if this company has the right to turn up on every existing small business trading outside the gates but on military land and muscle in on anyones business,ie cherrypick, I think that is totally wrong. I am sure you all have been to other venues lets see if it will happen there, because if it happens to Adrian it will follow that every other base site has this risk and possible legal right hanging over them.

Adrian also tells me that his new lease does not exclude the fact that ISS can still take the site, nor presumably any other site in the UK.

Good news by the sound of thing's, Adrian must be a little relived.
Must say that for many that travel long distances to CBY, it is good to see a van for that cuppa tea or coffee, sausage and bacon

No sign of the burger van wed, thur or friday.....took my own little gas stove after wed so didnt need to rely on the van being there.

I think you may find that Adrian is enjoying a few days break from Coningsby.

Have just spoken to Adrian now he has returned from holiday. He says he was there 27/5 not there 28/5 and absent 30/5. He went on to say tounge in cheek though, that one of the comments was probably the ice cream van that was present and the other item possibly the batmobile. He also mentioned that previously he had seen people with their stoves alight in the boots of their cars as well as under the rear boot, he also didnt think it was very safe just downright stupid.

"A Rhubarb" is a sortie of opportunity !
