if you are in the viewing area then the nearest HAS site is 3sqn, The furthest HAS site is 11sqn. VAS is located between the 2 squadrons. you may be able to get down New York road which runs along the base perimeter.

So assume they'll be has'd over weekend and only outside on flying days?
If not why were they outside this morning.

Popped over today and the 6 x Saudi's were all still parked up on the VAS ramp, easy to see, easy to read off.
From the spotters car park, exit right go round the left hand 90 degree bend then follow to the cross road sign, go left and follow that road- bingo !!

Is that the same road as Crash Gate 5?

Thanks for the tip off but might i suggest an amendment to your directions, just looking on google earth i think it more accurate to say left at the second cross roads perhaps ? sorry if I've misunderstood but that's how it reads to me.But i have been known to be wrong in the past....as her indoors constantly reminds me....cheers

You can access where they are parked from either cross road.

They both take you to the same place

Mike
