New Apaches?
New Apaches?
Tow Apaches have just gone over me heading to STANTA and they sounded slightly different, so I wondered if they were the latest version. Not so 'growly' as the originals.
Re: New Apaches?
Hi,
Showing as Machete callsigns and regular WAH-64 serials on the screen. Working around STANTA by the look of it. I'm rather surprised there out as most of Wattisham is already on leave.

Re: New Apaches?
Snoop - the AAC posted this when the first examples recently arrived at Brize,
"First UK flying is anticipated to commence in July 2021. Initially, this will be focussed on trials activity and then on developing instructional techniques to safely manage aircrew transition from Mark 1 to E-model. The focus will then change to the full rate conversion training of 3 Regiment Army Air Corps (3AAC).""
