Activity?

Hi folks.
Thinking about a trip to Marham in the next week or so and haven't been since the F-35s have been there. Do you know how busy it tends to be on a typical day? I remember when the Tornados were there it was a bit hit n miss!

You’ve answered your own question really, probably get more movements on the day of the Kings coronation which is a Saturday.

There is no "typical" day at Marham, just like most bases no two days are the same.
With 8 jets already left it looks like 617 deployment has started, might be more to go yet.
207 will still fly of course but sometimes you could be in for a bit of a wait.

Talks of Alaska but until they end up at their destination, who knows.

Thanks for the replies folks. Do wish it was slightly busier. I may give it a miss and try the trusted Hall n Heath instead

No, they're still away on exercises.
As for when they're due back, no one knows till tankers start making their way and someone spots them at a stopoff.
