F-35B Next Delivery
Morning,
just a general question, does anyone have any information on the next batch of F-35B's for the RAF.
I believe there should originally be another 6 this year, so are they currently in production?
Any info appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Re: F-35B Next Delivery
Because of slowed production from Covid the schedule is behind I believe 2 more are due later this year which currently seems correct as no more have flown from the production line since the last delivery in February. Next year I believe we should get the full quota of 6 but like everything these days this could change substantially so unfortunately it’s a wait and see what happens I’m afraid

BK-28/ZM162 is now flying at Fort Worth. Photos online of it flying 29-7-22.

Re: F-35B Next Delivery
A visit on the 12th October, I noted what looked very much like 029 in the Sun Sheds.
So has ZM163 been delivered? or have I incorrectly read it?
During my visit I read off ZM154/020, ZM160/026, ZM161/027
and codes 023, 024, 025,

Re: F-35B Next Delivery
You incorrectly read it, it's still at Fort Worth.
Re: F-35B Next Delivery
ZM135/BK001 was in the static at this weekends Edwards show. The RAF crew with it said that ZM135 and ZM136 will be replaced at Edwards with two new builds in 2023 straight from the factory and ZM135/136 will return to Marham late in 2023 after some mods to remove test equipment and a hardware upgrade.
Re: F-35B Next Delivery
The next 3 F-35B have been flying at Fort Worth for quite sometime now, are they still due for delivery this month or has this been delayed? Thanks.
Re: F-35B Next Delivery
No one knows at this stage, delivery should've been last month. Doesn't seem to be much word on why it's delayed.

That’s what they say. Apparently no shortage of trainee pilots , but the training system can’t cope !! Looking at using other overseas training courses .
