There are RAF Puma and Merlin at Yuma - so may not be related to USM movements.
Re: USMC F-35B Deployment - Round 2
Both UK and USMC F-35s will be participating in Atlantic Trident between 17-28th May, a French led exercise out of Mont de Marsan...
Cheers

Which (F-35A)may well go Lakenheath or Spangdahlem around the time of the exercise, just a thought unsure if they would directly use a base in France unless they head to one of the Rafale base’s which is possible - which I think could be a first visit to France for type if they do that option (outside of Paris show that is )

The deployment of the Queen Elizabeth East of Suez is all over the BBC this morning and alot is being made of the US contingent of F-35Bs making up much of the air complement.
Are these linked to the rumoured deployment to LN of a couple of B's, are more expected or are they due to fly direct from the US to the ship.

It would seem that air complement will include ten USMC F-35Bs, eight RAF/RN F-35Bs and several UK military helicopters.iainpeden wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 8:06 amThe deployment of the Queen Elizabeth East of Suez is all over the BBC this morning and alot is being made of the US contingent of F-35Bs making up much of the air complement.

Re: USMC F-35B Deployment - Round 2
No rumours, there are 10 F-35B due to UK in the next day or so.. they are currently at Beaufort having arrived from Yuma, waiting for the next leg to UK (LN.. or Marham). Covered in many posts on FC/Scramble and elsewhere over the last few days.iainpeden wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 8:06 amThe deployment of the Queen Elizabeth East of Suez is all over the BBC this morning and alot is being made of the US contingent of F-35Bs making up much of the air complement.
