It would be interesting to know where all these airframes are right now. Guessing only a few are properly 'based' at Marham?

Thanks - very good to know!

Presumably the ones at Edwards will leave service after their development lives are over? Wonder if we could see one at a UK museum.

They might be the oldest production airframes flying but I doubt they are likely going to be retiring in a hurry

They're production (rather than development) airframes so will stay in service as long as the rest I'd imagine. Not sure if in time 17 will relocate to the UK, or stay at Edwards ?

Noted flying today 18Oct were ZM144/010 & ZM145/011, both had nose & tail code with lightning bolt markings. ZM144/010 is an update to the list.

I haven't seen it but it should be ZM150.

016 should be ZM150 if they keep to sequence. i.e. ZM149 is '15' & ZM151 is '17'

You are both likely to be correct, however I shall leave the list "as-is" until someone visually/photographically confirms it.

We were told by 617sq CO John Butcher that 17 was very unlikely to move to U.K. but will stay at Edwards. As U.K. doesn’t have any ranges big enough to do the kind of testing they need to do on F35.

17 Sqn will stay over there. But an airframe swop over may well happen and they might get newer Block airframes at some point.

But then again...???

ZM136/002 confirmed today on the QE, can't ID the other aircraft but it's presumably ZM135!
