Apply (and pay?) before you get info is a very interesting concept. Still, I'm sure it'll sell out!

I'm registered and hope to see the painted jets which, surely, must be on show that day?!!
Re: Tornado Farewell Photo shoot 25th January 2019
Steve, I'm torn between registering for this, going to Lakenheath for the Iranian Tomcats that are due on that day or staying at Mildenhall for the B-2 which still hasn't turned up.starfighter wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 7:43 amAnd in January ? what chance that the weather sticks it’s ugly head in . Planning to make the trip from Aberdeen if accepted. The weather will be the main issue and short daylight hours, strange month to have it in, thought they might have waited until nearer retirement time?.
Cheers.
Cheers.

Will probably be more like a sunset photo shoot so that 'could' be quite effective. This one literally is pay your money and take your chance!

Re: Tornado Farewell Photo shoot 25th January 2019
Despite the last 'Enthusiasts Event' going so poorly (imo) and being critical of it, I have emailed in for this. Reason being, it is the last chance getting Tornado's this close. And what with this being a favourite as a kid, then I can't miss this.
Good luck to those of you applying, and let's hope it's a good one!
Clem, when do those Tomcats Loop?!

I’m still on the mound been here for two bl##dy weeks, and no F35s at the Heath, nearly ran out of food, going to give it till the new year, then give up . Hope you get some snow boots for Christmas.reaperops wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 12:51 pmSteve, I'm torn between registering for this, going to Lakenheath for the Iranian Tomcats that are due on that day or staying at Mildenhall for the B-2 which still hasn't turned up.starfighter wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 7:43 amAnd in January ? what chance that the weather sticks it’s ugly head in . We've been lucky most "rumours" have worked out lately, one that did not is unfortunate but used to happen without this outcry. Starfighter, let your imagination run riot and think of all the great visitors that used to park by the warren in times past. Then fight your way back up the hill through the dog walkers, refuel at the eateries down in the village, home for a warm up and recharge. Then back, if they, hopefully, fly over Christmas. A few years time we will have F35s coming out of our ears and hoping something like a F15 will turn up! and remember the bits that were about all the time we wish we had shot more of!
Re: Tornado Farewell Photo shoot 25th January 2019
Are these photo shoots usually just static displays or might they be doing a few photo passes?

Nowt in my inbox so looks like I’m going to have to get lucky with the retirement jets actually flying on the few occasions I’ve got left to go to Marham.
