Marham F-35 Flypast

Post by PercyPotter » Mon Jun 27, 2016 9:09 am

I haven't seen this posted anywhere else on FC so I thought I would get the ball rolling as this is now open knowledge on base:

2 x F-35 will be doing a flypast at Marham at 14:00 with Tornado on Thursday 30 June. Allegedly 1 x RAF F-35B & 1 USAF/USMC :thumb:

Flypast on Thursday is cancelled. Possible reschedule to Friday but dependant on the F-35Bs making it across the pond!

I'm guessing it might be linked, but there is a couple of NOTAMS out for VIP movements in and out of Marham today. Top brass arriving hoping to see a flypast?

Flypast was due tomorrow, think it might be for VIPs going to the Royal Norflok Show

Maybe lots of our colleagues from Europe have come off the ferries on their way to RIAT and Marham was the first point of call?

It's also Independence Day, so very little happening at the USAF Bases.
