Green 133 said a single tornado doing 4 passes?!
Thats not what the email said, it said "A flypast of 4 x GR4s has been coordinated for 1330."
Id say reading the actual words that means 4 Tornados will be in the air.

that's what I meant, but looking how I've written it I can see that it looks though I've said 4 passes.I wish!!

Showing as ZF291 Tucano

Sounds like a PD
Edit : did a high pass through the initial and off low level somewhere.

11:30 Monster 6 Radio check ( six is a fair proportion of the fleet)
11:54 monster 5 radio check

( Can't see any F-35s out side yet)

12:12 5 Tornados to taxi , Monster 5 missed out.

£50 to photograph 3 aircraft. Great value for money given that a RIAT ticket costs the same🤦‍♂️

Sorry I should say I was outside just doing some general spotting - there may have been other aircraft towed over from the shelters.

The Tucano (ZF291) was a good one for me !

they should be paying us to be at their event!
diabolical isnt too strong a word.
basically 50 sheets for 2 aircraft and their people in front of them blocking photography for 90 minutes after we arrived!

Categorically THE WORST event I have EVER attended. What a waste of money.

To add insult to injury, I’d say there was at least 140 people there. They have made £7000 out of that poor show. Words fail me.

Didn't the GR4s do a flypast or airfield attack?? Did F35 fly?

Bring back the days of Jags at Coltishall. Some great memories of airfield attacks on squadron retirements.

You would think they would have done something special for the money you paid!!

Without being too cynical maybe a bit of love lost with the photogropher fraternity after the front page of the Sun debacle.
