IX(B) Sqn are still in the 06 HAS complex, BAE have some / all the hangars. I believe some of the hangars are down to be demolished when the F-35 base upgrade starts. I guess the TGRF needs to be butchered a bit more before that happens :'(

Ix(B) sqn are due to move to the other HAZ site within the next year, soo all 3 sqns will be on the one HAZ site while the other is torn apart ready for the F35. Last i heard no HAZs are to be torn down cause it was cost to much, they are just going to upgrade them for the F35, if that's true and what happens we shall just have to wit and see

Quite a few HAS at the IX sqn end have already had new doors on etc,
Guess they just need to cut a hole in the roof so they can hover into them.......... :whistle: :whistle: :whistle: :whistle: :whistle:

Thanks Gary and all, 9 Sqdn are in the eastern HAS part on Flight Sim lol, so just checking. F35 upgrade? ah so Tornado will be around for a long time yet then haha :-).
