Morning Guys got 2 questions, I logged 2 certain movements yesterday can anyone shed any light on these -

ZA591/058 RAFAIR 9951 - Logged early 20.02.2017, where did she go ?
ZA587/055 RAFAIR 9953 - Logged late afternoon on the 20.02.2017 ott Israel last logged north of Cyprus. Did this return to the UK??

"Ascot 99**" callsigns appear to be those used by jets out on Operations over Iraq/Syria so probably best not to report them at the time you see them. Asking the question later on (as you have done) is fine. So in answer to your question I believe these jets were actually "on ops" at the time you saw them.

Just as an update regards dates spotted, a/c 003 is now active at Marham. Noted today on the HAS site it was last noted in April 2016

Also a/c 059 has been sent to RTP.

Not showing that it has been sent for RTP on demobbed yet so will have to wait and see.

With just 31 Squadron flying this week I imagine IX(B) Sqn have rotated out to Akrotiri and 12(B) Sqn may be back in action soon.

Also worth noting ZD742/090 gone to RTP taking the number of GR4's withdrawn from use (scrapped/RTP/Stored etc) to 80.

Well demobbed has 006 going to RTP/storage.

Expect a few more to go to RTP in the coming weeks, with XV(R) stopping flying next Friday I count 10 twin sticks left, not sure they'll need all them at Marham. Speaking with pilots in the past they have been told to use the twin sticks as they were the low hour airframes So might be a case of thrashing them then send to Leeming

Problem is the Twin sticks are not as capable as the strike jets though Gary,Can't even use lightning pods so can only use them for certain types of Training Sorties,
With Marham the way it is (Building site) I wonder where they could put the lossie jets anyway.
Assume Lossie had a mix of Strike jets and Ts?

Regards the twin sticks, we have dates in July and August for 040 (31 squadron anniversary) and ZG750 (pinky) to be sent for RTP.

Probables:

ZA543/036 - Last noted 20-01-17 as "RFR 7085" unknown if inbound or outbound
ZD739/087 - Last noted 29-11-16 as "Ascot 9711" unknown if inbound or outbound
