Provost visitor 1st june

Post by tazmin88 » Tue Jun 02, 2015 9:31 am

Hi can anyone ID the jet provost that was at marham on Monday 1st June I have a photo of it departing at 1347 but cannot read the serial , It has a Squadron or station badge on the tail too . Must have been a VIP as it appeared to do a roll after a high rate climb out take off and very few pilots would be allowed to get away with that .

That would make it G-SOAF perhaps.

Thanks All a quick google has confirmed it as G-SOAF and displays a serial in arabic so no wonder I couldnt read it lol.

The strikemaster is a ground attack version of a T5 according to Wikipedia so my ID was not that far out .

apologies for putting a civvie photo on FC

According to my mode-s logs he arrived about 1030 and departed about 1340.

Wondered where he was going too and from. Saw him come over Spalding twice quite low. Thanks for sharing
