F35 on ADSB
Doing some desktop lock down spotting on ADSD. First time I have seen an F35 on there. It is showing a US serial 13 5067. I googled the serial and got imges of a Hill based A model. Are there some visitors at Marham?
It went and played up near Thirsk but is now overhead Marham

Re: F35 on ADSB
It was Marham 11
I saw it - definitely a Marham based aircraft
I think every F-35B in the world shows up as the serial you mentioned.
Perhaps it is to fool the Russian Flanker pilots - " we shot that one down yesterday and now it is back again - are these Americans indestructible?"

It was ZM143 out of Marham (it shows as 13-5067 due to its generic hex code)Tim Holden wrote: ↑Tue May 12, 2020 12:42 pmDoing some desktop lock down spotting on ADSD. Re: F35 on ADSB
Was ZM143 read off? If so I shall have it for the garden log
Re: F35 on ADSB
Did you actually read it off as ZM143? if not, then it most probably wasn't.
Some databases incorrectly have this showing as the ID for this hex, when it could be any one of UK, US, Dutch, Israeli, etc (all having used this hex).

Re: F35 on ADSB
I've asked the guy that maintains the ADS-B Exchange database to remove any serial from that hex code.
Re: F35 on ADSB
13-5067 has been eyeballed as several different RAF F-35s in the past, take a look through here :- search.php?keywords=13-5067
Re: F35 on ADSB
Not read, just going off emails on MSF… but re-reading them I think it was speculation.. so ignore that..
