Not been today, however I plan on going tomorrow as well. As far as I am aware there are still a pair of Galaxy's on the deck, a couple of visiting tankers, the KC-10 that has been supporting the Typhoon re-fuelling trials tried to go today but aborted due to the conditions?? a C-17 also arrived this morning and there are a pair of visiting Hercs in as well - one of those being an AC-130U. I stand to be corrected on any info provided.

Hope this helps,

Dinger.

Me and Phill318 are heading down tomorrow as well, might bring Monty too. In some bluey-green Ford Focus. Will also be in Johns Field/The Lane.

I was over there the other night....when the E4 departed...can't remember what day it was ??
The gate was closed and everywhere was like a sheet of ice. I got stuck on the rump leading down to the gate, someone had to unlock the gate for me so I could drive in and turn around..then I got stuck again trying to get out.....eventually I got out and I went home, sod the E4 !!!!
The roads do seem a lot better today though, but still take care guys.
Dave.

I'm tempted but its close to a 3hr journey for me. Is the risk of crashing the car worth it?

Phill came down from Manchester today - said the roads were not too bad until he came into my driveway!

What with 2 C-5s, KC-10 and AC-130, I'd say its worth the journey. :)
