When did runway 29 become 28? I was listening for AF1 on the radio and he called up for runway 28. Is there and reason for the change? Has runway 11 become runway 10 at the other end?

Only a couple of weeks ago. Can't recall exact date, it was covered on here somewhere. The reason is magnetic variation so now nearer to 280 and 100 degrees than 290 and 110 degrees. Hence 11 became 10 to match (always 180 degree difference).

Nominally on 1 Jun 2021 when NOTAMs withdrew Authorization for Instrument Approach Procedures for 29 and 11 until 31 Aig, but IIRC NOTAMS must have an end date. The reason is magnetic drift rather than variation which has another specific meaning. I wonder if the FAA Challenger visits recently were compiling new procedures?
