Thieves operating in Folly Road

Post by f-4 » Fri Jun 12, 2020 5:52 pm

Warning to all true enthusiasts. Today a friend of mine - who is a disabled pensioner - had his camera and lens stolen from his car in Folly Road sometime between 1400 and 1500.

The MoD police have been informed and will be reviewing CCTV cameras which cover Folly Road. Any evidence will be handed to Suffolk Police, and a crime has been reported to them.

It's a sad reflection on society and perhaps the state of the hobby today. If anyone saw anything today please PM me.

Not really a relevant question if you ask me.

Disgusting behaviour, and not something i'd expect. Hope they catch him/them quickly.

It is a relevant question. Do you not lock the doors to your house when you go out? Do you leave your car unlocked when you park it.?

Lucky it was just camera equipment they took and not the car.

Any theft is terrible. Hopefully they get the person who did this. Hope the person who had his equipment stolen is ok.

Appalling, hope the thief is caught and punished, severely , but sadly I doubt it.
Did locals notice strangers?
Always lock your doors.
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

Thats what I would have thought chap. There must have a fair few of the boys who go down Folly to see this unless his car was well down the track just out of sight ??
