The kc-10 that has just landed was calling quid 89, I always thought these call signs were for based kc-135?

Or was I imagining things?

Suffolk Military Aviation have 83-0076 departing as Qid89.

It has been here on "NACHO" duties. In fact, ground/tower were calling it both "NACHO81" and "QID89" this morning, before abandoning the "NACHO" callsign.
