Bit of a long shot But does anyone have any further information on the transit of a P-3 through Mildenhall on the above dates. It did not carry a bureau number and the only marking I can recall was that it had a 0 on the top of the fin. I believe it was dark grey? A photo would be appreciated. It wás reported with a callsign of LK331. I do not even know in which direction it was travelling! Here's hoping! Thanks John

LK331 which visited RAF Mildenhall on May 31st, 2003 was in the old gray scheme without any markings, except for the Star and Bar. It was most likely the first P-3 SPA of VPU-1. My guess is that it came in from Brunswick and was on its way to the Middle East in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Or it could also be other way around. I can send you a picture if you like.
