For those that want the choppers and 1 squadron of Hornets!!

From what I can see, the rest is almost exactly the same as the "Roosevelt" in March 2015.

Plus most of the E-2Ds

Since when did a Notam stating Mildenhall would be closed actually mean Mildenhall was closed though?

Hardly - if you read the NOTAM it is from 5pm Friday to 5am Tuesday - just a long weekend.

Don't think he does but it is a NOTAM available online can't remember the site but an Internet search should get you there if you're interested.

Try NATS wedsite registration is free I get all notams both civil and military bases you can set up your own airfields using there airfield code ie Lakenheath is EGUL and Mildenhall EGUN and put dates in advance you can also get full up to date airways freqs and civil airports but not much in military other than there VHF freqs . Hope it helps you

Does anyone know if the three KC10s that are in/coming in are linked to the F18s at Lakenheath? Presumably they will be around all weekend if the base is closed?

Many thanks

Ah okay thanks. Things are so boring on the west side of the country now all we can hope for is something interesting to pop through the Lichfield corridor! There is only so much excitement you can get from MRTTs and Junos.

Cheers, have a good evening!

As I have already pointed out and as posted in the first post, the NOTAM takes effect at 17:00 today so yes there will be activity today.
