We are all very familiar with Goeffrey the Giraffe and his use in raising awareness for Great Ormond Street Hospital, but does anyone know if their is any significance of this little dude noted on 27th June
He was hitching a ride in 22-5685/Taco 02

Maybe something a family member gave the pilot? I have a rooster in aflying jacket that flies with me - a gift from my daughter.
We all have our quirks!

Indeed
I used to have a dog in a flying jacket that used to fly with me.
Just wondered if it had a wider significance

I know the 493rd FS had a toy monkey that would ride along with them back in the F-15C days. He was called Spank and the pilot flying with him used Spank as the callsign for the day. Apparently you had to fly with Spank if you had made a mistake like over G’ing a jet etc…
