Apologies if this has already been posted elsewhere...can anyone advise what this is about? Likely to be low-level flying? Could be fun!

The RAF often carry out JTAC exercises in that area. Jets drop from high to medium level, so I'd guess you're not likely to see any valley crawling here.
However, happy to defer to anyone with more detailed information.
