The USAF F-35 display team have a display at Lakenheath provisional listed for December 2021. Squadron stand-up (495th) or early arrival of the first jets?

Let Suffolk Constabulary know now so they have a year to organise themselves. Realistically there will be the usual idiots abandoning their vehicles without a care for anyone.

It's a year away, I'm sure LN will put in place plans if this is an official display.. maybe the base will be open for parking to avoid the local road chaos...

It's an f35 display were going to see these for years and years not a lot to get excited about.

It will probably be a private display. And I very much doubt any plans will be in place for the general public. It will just be the usual carnage of spotters parking ignorantly.

When the Thunderbirds came and did same they shut viewing area bit.Hopefully wont repeat

They opened the gates for the Thunderbirds didn't they? I certainly went on base for the display. Can't recall the exact circumatances.

It would appear that this is no longer going to take place as Lakenheath has now been removed from the schedule.

The team replied to somebody on FB stating it’s still planned, but for summer next year now. Sorry, I don’t have a link but I’m sure other forum members saw it. If it happens, it will be an absolute **** show at the viewing area/main road…

Easy solution, have an Open House, looooooong overdue for one! Great publicity, solves the abandoned cars all over the place problem, and provides a great day out for all!

My guess is July to coincide with another show at the same time. LN jet to be used.
