11.50 CMB 454 767-200 N225AX with Swanwick mil in the descent for Lakenheath cleared inbound via ASRAM

11.52 CMB 454 cleared own navigation Lakenheath

CMB 454H with LN app requesting to asram for now then the ILS 24 app.

Getting the cable lay out for 24 ,pilots saying " thats not good" Looking at a 30mins hold while the cables are taken down and the pilot makes a phone call.

Now looking at an hour 30mins before they can take them down ??

12.22 CMB 454 now talking about diverting to Mildenhall

12.29 CMB 454 sounds like they are divirting in to Mildenhall,waiting for confirmation from his company and just getting the current ATIS run way in use there .

12.45 CMB 454 has 45mins of fuel remaining before he has to divert

He doesn't seem to be getting a massive amount of help from the Lakenheath cable guys considering he is inbound from Keflavik

Still waiting for clearance to DV to Mildenhall keeps asking about the cables at LN .Was asking for the app end cables lowering then asked for the lot to be lowered .??

There are some eagles inbound so their reluctance is understandable

He's looking good orbiting my house.

As soon as the F-15s are down they will derigg the cables at 2700 ft so he can land.......

Should have diverted but I bet Mildenhall has denied it his request lol

Its getting better,tower saying they are willing to derigg the cable and CMB 454 has 22mins holding fuel left

His company has told him Mildenhall is a no go for a divert and has to DV in the next five mins .

LN are starting to sort out his comapny alternate of Stansted just incase he cannot get in to LN.They have stated to take the cables down he has 4 mins of HOLD fuel left and needs to start his inbound app asap.

Think its a common problem they have whit these things.Some one must accept the arrival time at LN for them to arrive at his flight planned time Baz.

Cleared on to the 24 app at this time down to fl 60

thank gawd for that Paul, someone needs to get there act together before something bad happens
