CMB 454 with LN ground asking for the the cables to betaken down for his departure.As soon as the troops are off and he has refueled he will be looking foe a departure out of Lakenheath.Next fighter movent will be 17.30z so should not be a problem re his requests

Nobody in ATC at LN had probably been advised that he maybe has support equipment from the recent F15 deployment at Keflavik. Good job he finally got cleared to land as there would have been substantial cost/time and general aggravation in recovering equipment by road from Stansted by 48TFW logistics team. :whistle:

LN ground calling CMB 454 saying they are sending more people to help id off load go faster,looking at a 15.30z departure from LN if he does not make it there will be a small window around 18.30z inbetween departures and arrivals back in .

Surly it would be on their movement sheets for the day Keith with a time of arrival?? Poss AM ops not passing on the imformation needed ??

I never understand why the civvies that are used for these trips aren’t scheduled to arrive after normal F15 flying hours. Even the Military normally manage to bring the heavies in after and depart them before flying starts early in the day. Can’t be that hard to organise surely.
