Possible the AK F-22 support C-17 coming back in?

All the speculation I have seen on FC seems to say the C-17 is coming in tomorrow.

If that turns out to be true, this could be a NOTAM for the Raptors leaving?

Can't be long until the Squadron deployed downrange starts to return, this often occurs on weekends.
Only one way to find out, be there!
Although I guess people might have had enough of LN by Sunday.

IF they are leaving on Sunday Morning, would there be a NOTAM for early departures (KC-135R) from the hall as its a Sunday?

Wouldn't have thought so, as Mildenhall is normally open to movements anyway.

Ok Ben thanks, not been that wy for many years, used be be no flying untill 13.00, unless NOTAM but nothing stays the same forever..

Their tankers for the return trip will most likely be KC-10's, not KC-135's anyway.

I would guess so providing they don't go tech, lol

There is a broken Raptor at the moment,thats why you have only seen 3 when they go out.

It's 131 I believe.

According to touch up ,the 3rd OG 06-4113 has gone tec again.

Dont want to shatter any illusions, but could it not be the HH60 coming back from Weston Helidays? Or would they not need to Notam being open for that?

I think for the based stuff the NOTAMs normally read something like "FOR 48thFW AIRCRAFT ONLY".

Could be imagining it though, it happens sometimes!

or a test flight for the sick Raptor before a long haul home ?
