56th and 57th RQS

Hi to all,

In my dim and distance memory I recall that the 56th and 57th where to relocate to Aviano in 2017.
Have any dates been confirmed as yet or is this a no go now ?

This was officially announced in 2015, although it all seems to have gone a bit quiet after that as nothing more has been said about it?

The below article on the 56th from April of last year mentions the move timeframe being between 2017-2019.
