Thanks

Guys,

As asked by the Moderator (and I'm not one of them!), please keep this clean and stick to (possible) facts. The problem is that things can change and in this case do...... Here are some "facts"

For some reason (God knows why), the 12 USMC F/A-18s appear to take the northern route back home after deployment.
6 are at LICZ, arriving yesterday as Mazda61-66 with Blue21
6 are still at Bahrein and (at this moment!) planned to dep to LICZ tomorrow, Thursday

From there everything is vague. I am not doubtin his post on FB, but what I was told was 6 to dep LICZ tomorrow to EGUL with Blue21/22 and 6 on Saturday (they have 1 day crewrest at LICZ). However, on that FB message they say they will come on Friday all 12 and dep Sunday morning. For me I doubt that, as I know how hard it is to get quiet hour waiver, specially on a sunday morning "just to go home".

phantomchris, if you read ranger703's post earlier on this page, you will see that they were due to head up to Lossiemouth. Furthermore, the Eagles are not coming back from the US, the post on the previous page by crashman states that the tanker he believes is for the F-15s is coming from Sigonella.

People mix up a lot these days without reading..... (no offense though)

8 based F-15s back from downrange this Friday, 4 more this Monday (not allowed on Sunday).

F-18s at Bahrein (6) and Sigonella (6). The ones at Bahrein have not filed for today, so doesn't say anything, but for me it means they will dep Bahrein tomorrow.

Lot of tankers at Sig at moment (and Souda). Tankers will accompany these fighters off course. C/s for tankers for F-15s unknown. C/s for F-18 tankers is blue11/12 and 21/22.

Cheers,
Oz

I know with Mil movements its difficult but how credible is this? The answer given depends on if i go down to Lakenheath or not tomorrow. Its a bit Thursday/Friday it is happening/Thursday its happening etc

Which is based on the Facebook post mentioned earlier in this thread; the credibility of which is questionable.

Here is the latest that i have :

KC10s blue 11/21 are now due to Mildenhall on Friday between 1800-1900 local.

They are then outbound from Mildenhall on saturday with Blue 12/22 100ARW KC135's in support all departing Mildenhall between 1300-1400 local.

The flights they are supporting are : Mazda 61-66 flight of 6 & Mazda 71-76 flight of 6.

They (KC10's) are currently airborne from IUD with an AR track scheduled, heading for Sigonella.
