Thanks for that - just read the article - to conduct local air training.

Hi all,
Regarding which aircraft were using which shelter, can you confirm from the below description?

I'm sure all these shelters are numbered, but looking at satellite image there is a loop to the west of the main taxiway with 4 shelters on the inside of the loop & 6 on the outside. If you go clockwise round this loop would you mean #5 regarding 08-4155? As this shelter was open yesterday.
Using my own terminology, 09-4175 was read off before being pushed back into shelter #3 yesterday 12 Oct.

Thanks if anyone can help.
Andy

This morning -4155 was outside the nearest shelter in the central area as viewed from the err viewing area. So that is just to the left of runway 24 , the windsock appears slightly left of the shelter - basically is the most obvious shelter.

I meant to take a photo but forgot

I must confess I only read 4155 outside the HAS - I didn't see it coming out. Weirdly the shelter was still wide open when I left even though 4155 was in Spang.

Thanks, yes that's the shelter I thought you meant. For anyone wondering, 09-4175 that I read off on 12th was read from the far end of the lane from the spotters area before the road turns to the right to the farm & church.

At around 12.20pm, I just managed to notice a KC135, with 2 fighters following very closely to it , NW of Norwich . Would have made a great shot, but unable to get to my camera in time!
Could these have been the 2 heading to Spangdahlem?

I think that is a safe assumption , only one tanker was in the zone at that time although Cobra 71 departed after Quid 871 , but wouldn't have had fighters in tow.
