Does anyone know when the Saudis are departing. I am guessing it will be any early start when they do go.

Hi Banta
This is my first posting,is it unusual for the Saudis to go out on a Sunday,as I will be coming up in the morning on my way to Cromer, normally they dept on a Monday, least I can catch up with the E6 at the hall.
Regards
John.

Thanks for the timings for departure. I assume that it takes into account the hour going forward tonight. Just a thought.

The 'norm' is for a 48 hour stop so if they arrive on a Friday they will plan to depart on a Sunday. Eventualities might prevent that, like the tanker breaking (a common occurrence where KC-10s are concerned!, or bad weather at the departure or destination airfield or en-route.

Dave, Banter has accounted for both zulu and local in his post.

They started engines at 0630 this morning and shut down shortly after due to Tanker issues. They were all visible with no signs of moving at noon from the field opposite the base.
