The new thread was perfectly correct and should not in my opinion have been locked. This thread relates to a rumour about alleged events nearly a month ago at Lakenheath. "A-10's passing through this week" which week?

The new thread gave specific information about a hoped for visit by some A-10's at Mildenhall next week. The only similarity between the two events is the phrase A-10.

This is the thread that should be closed not the new one!

It's still the same A-10s, what happens if someone else hear that they are not going to Mildenhall and are in fact going to Lakenheath? Or are arriving on a different day to the one stated. Do you then have yet another thread started? Some times it's easier to have just one thread, instead of people chasing info across multiple ones.

I have moved the other thread to the RAF Mildenhall section and unlocked it, if that's what people want. This thread will be locked later viewtopic.php?f=50&t=148619
