MO F-15s to the Heath?

Post by sschofield » Wed Apr 05, 2017 3:29 pm

Hello,

I've just been told that there are some (18 was mentioned?) Mountain Home F-15Es due to stage through Lakenheath Westbound over the next couple of days. Has anybody else heard this, do we know if there's any truth in it?

cheers

Would love to buddy, :D
Its certainly the talk of the town at the moment. I suspect its no coincidence that LN are due to deploy a similar number of jets imminently to replace the Det MO have just been covering too.

Funny that there is no ALTRV for Shanwick tomorrow (as at 23.07BST).

There is, however, one for Santa Maria - which indicates something through the Med tomorrow - or possibly for Moron

As they are West Coast jets they might go via Greenland/Iceland hence no ALTRV

Heatseeker,

Thanks, but I've seen a report on Twitter which differs from yours, and 90-0263 doesn't exist. Can you re-check your list please?

Westbound ATLRV don't usually get posted until they arrive at their staging post, especially if they are transiting through LN or Mildenhall

The likely ALTRV for their Coronet was posted at 11.52L viewtopic.php?f=139&t=144401

DCM88 states earlier in the thread "2 days rest" so this would make first departures on Saturday

That was me getting confused by DCM88's use of the word "cross" - made me think they were coming East instead of the obvious West. Ah, well......
