Retirement
I have just been reading a article where the US airforce is looking to submit plans to retire all the older engined F-15e's by 2028. Can anyone else shed some light on this.
Re: Retirement
Maybe to be replaced by the new build F-15EX?

Have you a link to the article?
Seriously though I saw a YouTube by an 'expert' - actually he was an expert where he said the F-15E will be around for a long time yet - I have long lost that link

Re: Retirement
I read an item that stated that the reduced numbers of EX's now being proposed (although the number went down its gone back up again but not to the original figure) will be for ANG units for CONUS defence.
