Anyone got links to photographs of 20-5594 to 98
20-5595 has LN marking as above post and looks destined for the 493rd

There's a guy on Instagram that is mentioned who regularly posts vids and photos at Fort Worth.

Batch 3 (2 aircraft) : 15/04/2022 17:00 Retro 31-32 Delivery Batch #3
19-5493 "493FS"
19-5495 "495FS"

Can anyone confirm where Retro 31-32 arrived from ... Charleston SC or Cherry Point NC.

Thanks

Unfortunately heads up posts have gone so difficult to check on this site. From memory I think a pair did end up in Charleston although they normally route direct from Dallas up towards the St Johns area and then oceanic

I made a note of them flying Fort Worth to Charleston on 5/4/22.

Still a hold on for deliveries but Lockheed don't care because they get paid for making them irrespective of acceptance

"But the company is not chiefly paid based on deliveries, he said [chief executive Jim Taiclet]"

Has anyone read what's going on with the engine investigation or any update on how long the hold on deliveries might be? Going to be quite a backlog at this rate.

A fix for the engine troubles that grounded new F-35s and halted deliveries has been found.

https://www.defensenews.com/air/2023/02 ... eliveries/

Engine maker PW confirms, and expects to resume delivering F135s by the end of Feb 2023.
“After thorough review, we can confidently say there were no quality issues with the [engine] fuel tube that fractured,” said Jen Latka, vice president of the F135 program for Pratt & Whitney. “We are dealing with a rare systems phenomenon involving harmonic resonance.
“We have developed a near-term remedy that allows the fleet to fly safely, and we expect that F135 engine deliveries could resume before the end of the month.”

As a Reaper or Valkyrie jet?

There is no photo as yet, the comments do say 495FS though.

Ah ok, that should be one of the last two for the Valkyries.

Then the Reapers have 10 either built or in build with more to start on the production line over the coming months.

So I wonder if 5597 or 5599 are LN jets?
