Lakenheath SJ and 495th FS Frequencies

Hi all

Planning for a trip on Tuesday if anyone has any frequencies being used by the F35's or SJ's it will be greatly appreciated.

Last week the F-35A were sharing Reapers ops Freq 240.65

SJ ops are on 315.55

Think there are some SJ A/a freqs in the heads up section over the past week or two as well that might be worth a look at?

I have 343.475 and also 359.800 scribbled down. Not 100% sure. I have definitely heard 315.550 in use.

315.55 is definitely 'Mission Control' - not much is said but if it is active then you can be pretty sure some SJ will taxy out

Have the 495th got any of their own yet or are they using Reapers ones? I haven't updated mine in a while, could probably do with changing.

Thanks all for the frequencies. Another question I have is whether there will be activity on Tuesday. I have noticed marham and coningsby are on night operations does this mean the 48FW might be as well? Also are they likely to fly on Tuesday after having the Monday off for Martin Luther king Day?

I don't see any reason why Tuesday wouldn't be a normal flying day. They have also been going up after dark quite a bit already anyway apart from the 495th who I don't believe have as yet.

When I was there a couple of weeks ago, Ramrod commented over an open mike to one of the Ops teams about there not being enough frequencies and that they hoped to fix it soon.

Not as yet I believe. They (495th) are operating from 493rd ops as their facility isn’t finished as yet.
