F-15 in heritage colours
F-15 in heritage colours
I’ve tried a half-hearted search on FC.
Is there one still operating from RAF Lakenheath? I came across a snap of mine taken in 2018 and thought another attempt was due.
Subject of course to being allowed to visit etc

84-0010 The King is often referred to
Re: F-15 in heritage colours
It is a regular performer as tomw says and I have seen it a few times recently at Lakenheath. I am visiting today and would not be surprised if it makes an appearance at some point.
Re: F-15 in heritage colours
Heritage F15 is active today. Took off at 14:05. Really good day here. This morning at Mildenhall, two 135's took off, an FAA challenger was doing circuits plus two Ospreys, a C5, a Strix and KC10 all departed Mild. I moved to Lakenheath after lunch and impressively, 20 F-15s took off (including aforementioned heritage bird), and all before 2:20pm. Not bad at all.

Re: F-15 in heritage colours
Did the 84-0010 left together on the 16th with the 86-0154 and 86-0163? Anybody knows what callsign was used (probably retro)? Thanks in advance!

Re: F-15 in heritage colours
The tanker was using Blue 35 according to reports so by rights the chicks should be Retro 81-83
