Would think it would re open on the 3rd - depending on what tier the area falls in of course.

The police have been moving people on (Quite rightly so ),so good luck
That is unless you live local then they have been ok evidently.

Guess if you live local then you are taking exercise on your local area.
It’s the b*lends that are driving miles and miles they are moving on .

I wonder how many spotters that turned-up at Leeming yesterday morning didn't live locally, I bet that there were plenty that are keeping quiet about it.

Whose doing all this traveling? I am being paranoid :)

The Government haven't stipulated a distance but common sense would suggest 20-25 miles one way as a max but we all have our own ideas and it is a free country. It is a rule that you can only meet one other person by traveling alone - is that correct?

I think it is a bit rich to post expected movements and ALTRV then complain when people go to see them !

I regularly walk to the Lynford aboretum which has a nearby carpark which often has 30+ cars but it doesn't bother me , everyone has to get out for fresh air for their own peace of mind

Obviously keep up the social distancing.

( Edit: I bet there weren't that many spotters for Swiss hornets which are two a penny)

I think it would very much depend on where you live as to how far you may be about to travel and also the reason. In the more rural areas of the UK you may have to travel a fair distance just for essential shopping but no journey to an airfield for spotting purposes could be construed as essential.

The posting of information such as ALTRV's and daily due lists are unfortunately going to tempt the minority out of the house and all I can say is well done to the local constabulary at Lakenheath if they are moving people on and hopefully fining them. Some do not seem to be able to take this pandemic seriously, it is not going to disappear; just when the figures seemed to be showing a steady decrease today's have massively reversed the trend.

Stay at home, keep us safe and hopefully we will all still be here to enjoy our hobby in a few months time if these miracle vaccines become available.

Clearly you can't fix stupid (see also "Brexit" for further confirmation). Idiots will always believe that the rules don't apply to them. I work in an essential role, I also have an underlying health condition that puts me at slighlty higher risk of complications if I were to catch Covid. I'm careful, but I'm also scared. Selfish idiots do nothing but polarise this country as the "me, me, me" place (thanks again Paddy) that it has become in the last few years. I have been doing this hobby for 36 years. That's three-quarters of my life. I hope to still be doing it in another 36. Time will tell I guess.
