I haven’t seen this anywhere recently but could anyone confirm if the field along the A1065 is still out of bounds? Just trying to gauge which spot to go to see the MOs!
They're not on the usual VAS ramp and visible from that field... best follow directions in previous few above posts...
Cheers Alf saw all 18 from there without any issues, great spot 👍 I would suggest anyone walks past the large Bush line and then a large tree and you can see today’s arrivals easily

The easiest option is to park in the small lay-by on the B1112 just passed the usaf auto rentals. Walk up the grassy public footpath along side the 06 approach which then bends round to the left up a hill. From the bottom of the hill you can see the far end of the line which ends at a red top LN one. There are then 10 MOs before the special marked one 366. You then need to walk up the hill until you see a small embankment next to the fence. From there you can see all the others including 366. All 18 are in landing order with Saturdays at the 06 end of the line.
Hope this helps.

Superb advice, I'd always parked at Maidcross Hill and walked all along the fence. I had no idea the 06 lay-by path lead to there. Managed to get all 18 in some pretty nasty drizzle.

Thanks Grimm and others for the excellent advice. Didn't manage to get down for this one (400 mile trip for me) but noted for future deployments.
