Re: Aviano F-16 Deployment?
I know the duration of this deployment has been mentioned on here before. so I spoke to a Buzzards pilot yesterday at Lakenheath who confirmed the visit is for a month.

Re: Aviano F-16 Deployment?
Hi sorry if this has already been asked. Any idea how long the F-16's are deployed to Lakenheath for ?

It's no wonder people get peed off with the same questions being asked again and again when someone can't even look at a previous post

Believe me this not the only list this happened on they don’t look
Re: Aviano F-16 Deployment?
Does anybody have an updated list of which aircraft are visible on the flight line this weekend please, ideally Fri pm/Sat am thanks,
I am sure an updated list for each weekend through the deployment will help everybody if one can be posted

Re: Aviano F-16 Deployment?
If you walk to the far south western end of the warren, behind the bomb dump, you eventually come to a wooden swing gate which I assume marks the end of the nature reserve. Go through this gate and the path continues straight down a long line of tall bushes. Eventually the path emerges on a wide muddy track which follows the base perimeter off south towards the 06 threshold. I was there on Wednesday and the line of 9 F-16's could easily be read off from here, (also 5 F-15E's further down the line). They're all side on and much easier to read than from the warren proper. You could also read 2 F16's sitting outside the shelters, and see one more inside.
I got the three I needed.

Good morning all
Are the F-16s flying late pm/evenings again this week? Or is it just the 48th FW?
Thanks!

For the Vipers it's been 1500L last week and this week so far.

Re: Aviano F-16 Deployment?
Last week first movements on Tuesday and Wednesday were between 12 and 12.30 launching 9 Eagles. Then there was a quiet period until 3pm when all hell broke loose with mixed type take offs totalling 30 and 27 respectively. These returned around the golden hour. Later launches others will have to comment as we went down the pub on the Tuesday and home on the Wednesday. Managed photos of 13 out of the 16 F-16s on those two big launches
Cheers

Re: Aviano F-16 Deployment?
Lakenheath I believe is on nights again this week 14th to 17th September and looking at the heads up section... ( full credit to all of the posts)... It as today shown the the F16s starting around 3pm which fits in with last week when I was there... and some F15 movements happening before 3pm.
If its the same as last week the action really gets going around 4pm.
Hope this helps.
