Movements at Lakenheath 1.5.19
Movements at Lakenheath 1.5.19
2 x 747s and a 757 are in and out of Lakenheath this morning - this would suggest equipment and personnel movements ahead of an anticipated deployment mentioned elsewhere. Theres also a KC135 en-route McDill - Mildenhall which may or may not be co-incidental. But these are just my own assumptions of course.
Re: Movements at Lakenheath 1.5.19
Yesterday, 494FS equipment and cargo was taken round the north side. So it appears the 494th are going somewhere!
Re: Movements at Lakenheath 1.5.19
I think bollo said it was 492fs going on a road trip.

All the containers taken round to the c-17 yesterday had 494th mu on them. Expecting 14 494th too deploy this week.

Red Flag apparently
Re: Movements at Lakenheath 1.5.19
They will be out there a very long time, then. Red Flag 19-3 doesn't start until 15th July.

According to FR24 the Atlas Air 747 that departed LN this morning N497MC has destination of Panama City. It positioned to LN from Aviano AB.
Re: Movements at Lakenheath 1.5.19
More nonsense from FR24 I'm afraid.
The Atlas and National B744s were both bound for KPAM = Tyndall AFB
