Probably having a full English breakfast then at RAF Marham. The French guy was shown quite clearly on local tv, the cameraman is just focusing on the F35.

Looks they are departing Lakenheath now. Guess the Notam was for something else?

I can only guess there will be another mission this afternoon , but it could be nearly sunset when they recover.

This makes it sound like a single-mission exercise (ie it's already over?)?
https://www.edp24.co.uk/news/f-35-jets- ... -1-5796145

"More than 40 aircraft will take part in the exercise, due to take place on Tuesday, with around 200 to 250 military staff involved for roughly an hour."

The May exercise was only a single mission - late lunchtime, if I recall correctly.

I would guess that it is one of those that happen as and when the "bad guys" show up - I.e. at some unspecified time during the day.

Thanks

No sign of any French this afternoon as at 15:30

A few strikes have gone out on their normal training missions

Three will be in shelters at Mont-De- Marsan soon as three took off and headed south just before 9am Wednesday morning.

Speculation says it is 30-GB still on the ramp at Lakenheath as it didn't fly on Tuesday?
